My name is Mark McLauchlan and I am SOULSTease. I have an extensive history of more than 30 years within the acrobatic & circus industry. A former Australian team champion gymnast, NICA (National Institute of Circus Arts) graduate 2006 & international circus performer including 3.5 years travelling the world with Cirque du Soleil.

I am currently based in Melbourne but am often booked to perform in many different cities and places around Australia.

I now specialise as a pole dancer, circus aerialist & burlesque performer. I perform using a variety of apparatus including a portable pole, lollipop (aerial hoop on a pole), aerial pole & a unique large golden aerial hook. Combining stunning custom made costumes, fluidity, flexibility, strength & artistry to bring you performances which move between high energy, fabulous entertainment to slow, fluid & memorable experiences.

This theatrical pint sized sultry performer knows how to tease and tantalise with every sparkly fibre of his being.

Apparatus

Portable Pole

A sleek Italian designed, white portable pole with a pine wood base is used in these performances. Combining elements of dance, strength based and fluid pole skills along with spinning pole combinations of flexibility and grace.

Requirements: A flat surface with at least a 3.2m ceiling height clearance.

Lollipop

A Portable, black aerial hoop on top of a pole with its own pine wood base. This beautiful apparatus is very versatile with static and spinning options and can be performed in just about any location.

Requirements: A flat surface with atleast a 3m ceiling clearance.

Aerial Pole

A suspended black aerial pole that can spin on the spot, swings in any direction and circles if the stage is large enough to accommodate. This apparatus is fluid, beautiful and very unique.

Requirements: Aerial circus rigging point.

Golden Hook

A large stainless steel golden Hook. A fun and unique apparatus that spins on the spot, swings in any direction and circles if stage is large enough. A stunning captain Hook character and costume can be used with this act.

Requirements: Aerial circus rigging point.

Burlesque Chair

A chair performance combining Burlesque strip tease elements, slinky flexibility, balances and handstands.

Requirements: Flat surface.
